The website and digital assets is a further evolution of CNMS and our work to make Crows Nest the vibrant centre of the North Sydney area.
In 1995 when Crows Nest Mainstreet Pty Ltd was formed it was at the request of North Sydney Council as a requirement for the admistration of the Crows Nest Mainstreet Levy Funds. A company charter was created and the objectives of the Company include:
i) To play a positive role in improving and revitalising the retail and commercial centre of Crows Nest as a focal point for business activities to the surrounding residential and business communities;
ii) To improve pedestrian & vehicular access and traffic flow - to increase and improve the parking system, to and from the retail centre;
iii) To develop and improve the streetscape by way of constructing street facilities including but not limited to outdoor dining areas, recreational areas, pedestrian mall and general beautification of the entire business/commercial area;
iv) To creating and publicising a centre theme and image;
v) To sponsoring, promoting and co-ordinating events including but not limited to fairs, festivals, exhibitions, music, theatre throughout the area including but limited to laneways and parks;
vi) To co-ordinate a professional marketing and advertising programme to position Crows Nest as a desirable area to reside in or to visit for the pursuit of various activities including but not limited to leisure, lifestyle and business activities;
vii) To encourage and assist in providing advice where necessary to relevant residential and commercial property developments; and
viii) To act for and liase on behalf of, the Crows Nest Mainstreet property owners on matters of community interest and concerns with all statutory bodies.
